Kyle is an award-winning director based in Los Angeles. He began making films in the US Army, of all place, while serving as a cavalry scout and paratrooper.
Enlisting in the military for life experience and not excited about war - Kyle joined a month prior to 9/11 - he quickly found a calling in telling the soldier’s story through film. From music videos of airborne operations to affixing cameras to his humvee in Iraq, the military for Kyle was a director's playground... rife with unique stories, diverse people and the most elemental parts of the human experience.
After discharge, Kyle used his G.I. Bill to attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts where he specialized in directing and was selected to helm one of the four school-funded thesis films.
Following graduation, the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs tapped Kyle to write and direct a variety of their nationally televised PSAs. In 2015, after directing a pair of highly praised spec spots for Audi and Under Armour, Kyle was signed to the directorial roster of Casta Diva USA where he has directed broadcast commercials for brands such as Dunkin Donuts and Bayer.
Outside of commercial work, in 2016 Kyle embarked into television, writing and directing the first 12-episode season of MEALS READY TO EAT, a CHEF'S TABLE like food and travel show for Verizon's Go90 network.
Kyle was born and raised in Madison, WI, currently resides in Pasadena, and spends most his free time and $$ on travel, poke and dog toys.
